The three-storey building at the foot of the Clearwater Beach causeway traded as Crabby Bill's for sixteen years and now runs as Crabby's Dockside — same address, same operator lineage, new name. Panoramic water views from the upper decks are the pitch, and fresh Florida grouper is the thing to order. The kitchen sends out Boom Boom shrimp bites, coconut lobster bites, Crabbyfellar oysters baked with crab, spinach and bacon, Jonah crab claws, shrimp and grits over smoked gouda polenta, dry-rubbed Memphis baby back ribs. Open daily until ten, eleven on weekends. This was a rename, and never a closure.
