Cuban pizza, made the way Havana province makes it, from a low-slung spot on SW 184th Terrace in far south Miami-Dade. The crust is soft rather than crisp and the toppings stay deliberately plain: queso, jamon, chorizo, cebolla, pepperoni, sweet peppers, mushrooms, black olives, or the mixta that stacks ham, chorizo and pepperoni together. Order it nine inches for one or sixteen for the table. Spaghetti comes napolitano or with ham or chorizo, and the sandwich board is short and correct: pan con bistec, frita cubana. Batidos of mamey, guanabana and guayaba. Flan, thick and properly cold, closes it out.
