DEL CAMPO LATIN FOOD & CAFE LC – Restaurant

A modest cafe in a strip plaza on Southwest 112th Avenue in Homestead, open from half past seven in the morning until eight in the evening, seven days a week. Mornings run Dominican: mangu under fried cheese with sausage, eggs and Cuban toast. Then, unexpectedly, a hibachi griddle takes over, turning out chicken, shrimp, salmon and churrasco with fried rice in about the time it takes to settle into a chair. Diners keep saying the same thing, that it saves them the drive north for the same plate at a friendlier price. Casual room, outdoor seating, takeout, delivery, reservations accepted.
