DICK'S LAST RESORT – Restaurant

At Pier Park, steps from the Gulf, Dick's Last Resort runs its cheerfully abusive routine: servers who heckle, paper hats scrawled with insults, and a patio built for sunburned afternoons. The food is unapologetically big. Macho Nachos arrive messy and proud, the Sampler Platta feeds four to six, and there are Drunken Shrimp, fried pickles, baby back ribs, Feelin' Fry'd Fishy flounder, the Black 'N' Blue Burger and Mama Dick's Mac 'N' Cheez. Desserts scale up too, including a brownie sundae meant for four. Open daily from eleven at Pier Park on Front Beach Road. Thin skins need not apply.
