DIMSUM KING – Restaurant

A Conroy Road dining room in Orlando where Cantonese dim sum shares the table with some serious seafood. Plates of shrimp dumplings, shumai and soup dumplings start most meals, and the shrimp-and-scallop har gow tends to get ordered twice. Then the kitchen goes big: a whole sea bass steamed to order, Sichuan boiled fish, roast duck, Peking pork ribs, pork intestines with hot pepper. Cumin beef, sesame beef and orange beef anchor the wok list, alongside kung pao chicken, walnut shrimp, beef chow fun in gravy and snow pea tips with garlic. Weekends the doors open at half past ten.
