Doggi's Arepa Bar cooks Venezuelan comfort food across Miami-Dade and Broward, and the corn cakes carry the menu: Arepa Santa Barbara, Arepa Mexicana, Arepa Tripleta, Arepa Criolla, Arepa de Pabellon with shredded beef. Beyond them sit cachapas folded around cheese, patacones de churrasco stacked between fried plantains, empanadas of carne mechada or pollo mechado, and tequenos fried crisp. Yuca fries, tostones and black beans handle the sides; Venezuelan coffee, from negrito to guayoyo, handles the rest. Fresh ingredients, homemade recipes, no fine-dining formality.
