DON GIOVANNI – Restaurant

A Taylor Road pizzeria that cooks like a full Italian kitchen. Sixteen-inch pies come out as the house Don Giovanni, genovese, margherita, or a puffy montanara, and the antipasti table runs to garlic knots, fried calamari, arancini, burrata with prosciutto, carpaccio di manzo, eggplant rollatini and fried smelt. Pasta is the deeper pleasure: orecchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe, spaghetti alla pescatora, rigatoni alla vodka, gnocchi. Chef specials rotate through pork ossobuco, Italian braciole, short rib ravioli and a veal chop. Diners come back for the freshness and the warm welcome from the owners. Finish with cannoli or chocolate bomba.
