DONDE JHAN'K – Restaurant
A Colombian burger truck parked on NW 54th Street, opening at half six in the evening and running to nearly one. The burgers go maximal: hamburguesa criolla with arepa, chorizo paisa, corn and avocado; barbacoa with shredded beef and sweet plantain; the Bomba built on a single 300-gram patty; the Filipina stacking double angus, pulled chicken and bacon jam. Hot dogs follow suit, the Rottweiler loaded with roast beef and pulled chicken. Papas Crazy is what regulars order first. Choripapa, salchipapa, desgranado and eight breaded BBQ wings fill out the rest of the board. Colombian street food, and unapologetically enormous.
