Alec Fernandez grew up ordering at Miami ventanitas; in 2016 he and his aunt Vicky Carballo built a whole shop around the one thing those windows do best. The Westchester dining room on Southwest 40th Street sells croquetas by the flight, with sauces, plus singles: ham, Manchego, roasted chicken, Medianoche, Smash Burger and the 305, which packs picadillo, platanitos and queso blanco. Breakfast runs egg sandwiches, breakfast bowls, wraps and croissant-style extras until mid-afternoon. Shakes and monthly limited drops rotate. A second counter in Medley handles takeout only, and boxes ship nationwide. Dine in, take out, or have it delivered.
