The croquetas bring most people through the door - ham above all, the crust giving way to something nearly liquid - but the everyday cooking is what keeps them coming back: bistec empanizado, milanesa de pollo layered with ham and cheese, malanga fritters, flan for after. Service is quick and unfussy, the dining room fills at odd hours, and the prices have stayed sane. Old-guard Miami Cuban, with none of the nostalgia marketing.
