DUNE DOG STUART LLC – Restaurant

Dune Dog Cafe has worked the same stretch of Federal Highway in Stuart since 1994, a hot-dog-and-seafood combination that shouldn't work on paper but does. The Chicago Dog and Southwest Dog anchor one end of the menu; New England clam chowder, steamed clams and a half-dozen lobster plate anchor the other, alongside barbecue ribs and Yankee Nachos piled with chili, cheese, tomatoes, onions and jalapenos. Burgers and a bourbon chicken entree fill the middle ground. Happy hour runs weekday afternoons, and live music turns the dining room into something closer to a bar some nights. A three-decade Treasure Coast fixture.
