Duval Fish & Chicken runs a fry counter on Moncrief Road in Jacksonville, open from mid-morning past 11 most nights. Whole and flavored wings anchor the menu alongside fried or grilled fish sandwiches dressed with sauce, tomato, pickle and lettuce, plus chicken dinners, battered scallops and jumbo butterfly shrimp served with fries. Sides run from hush puppies and okra to cheese sticks and crab cakes, with house-made drinks and slushies to wash it down. The Duval Combos pull several of those together at once.
