EL JEFE LUCHADOR – Restaurant

This Deerfield Beach restaurant on South Federal Highway serves what it calls hardcore Mexican street food in a lively, colorful dining room built for sharing. Tacos al carbon, a loaded burrito nicknamed the Phatty, quesadillas, nachos, and build-your-own smokin bowls with rice, beans, corn, pico de gallo, and guacamole anchor the everyday menu, while rotating specialties bring in catch of the day, crispy pork belly, lamb barbacoa, and angus ribeye tacos. A Korean fried chicken taco appears alongside more traditional fillings, Thursdays bring tamales, and weekend brunch adds chilaquiles and breakfast burritos. The restaurant opens daily at eleven through evening.
