Elubia's Kitchen Isla Vista – mexican

Elubia's Kitchen is a dedicated gluten-free restaurant on Trigo Road in Isla Vista, opened 2019 by Elubia and Ruben Orozco, built around Mexican and Guatemalan cooking made without gluten or peanuts. Pupusas are the specialty, backed by garnachas, potato taquitos, street tacos, burritos, tamales, enchiladas, and tostadas topped with tinga or cueritos. The kitchen sources produce from the local farmers market and the Isla Vista Food Co-op, and its Central American Combo won first at a local vegan cooking challenge. Open for lunch and dinner most of the week, it draws Santa Barbara students and locals wanting real gluten-free flavor.
