On Alverez Avenue by Spanish Springs Town Square, this is the golf cart friendly Flippers, with seating indoors and out. The brand, now Flippers Pizza Co., has run brick ovens since 1987 and ferments its craft dough for ninety six hours before baking. Pizzas include the Rustica with Italian sausage and prosciutto, the Sonoma with pesto drizzle, Buffalo Chicken with gorgonzola and the cheese heavy Quattro. Salads, handhelds, oven baked wings, breadsticks and Hot Honey Buns with candied walnuts follow, alongside local craft beer and wine. Tableside service is standard here. It closes at ten most nights, eleven on weekends.
