FOOQS – Restaurant
Fooq's returned to Miami's Little River after debuting downtown in 2015 as chef-owner David Foulquier's tribute to his French and Persian roots, serving wood-fired, locally sourced Mediterranean food off a live-fire charcoal grill. Mezze sets the table with za'atar bread, muhammara, and spicy feta, before roasted beets, pork-and-lamb kofte, and tuna crudo lead into kebabs, a whole grilled branzino, and the eight-ounce Fooq's Burger. Sides run to jeweled rice tahdig and za'atar fries. Upstairs, the Lion's Den offers an after-hours lounge. Diners keep returning for the warm room and confident, boundary-pushing cooking. Brunch and happy hour round out the week.
