Carne asada comes off the fire with gallo pinto and tajadas verdes, and the kitchen keeps the traditional plates moving: bistec en salsa, enchiladas, chicharron, cerdo con yuca, fried cheese. Wash it down with cebada or maracuya and finish with tres leches. Regulars come for the speed and for portions that eat like a full meal rather than a snack. Prices stay modest. The flavors do not.
