GRAND HACIENDA – Restaurant

A Gulf Boulevard dining room on St. Pete Beach where the showpiece arrives inside a halved pineapple: chorizo, shrimp, bacon and grilled onion, fajita-style. Around it sit tacos, enchiladas, chimichangas and a long list of margaritas, with weekday happy hour from four to six and bottomless mimosas at weekend brunch. Diners keep coming back to the same two things — plates big enough to share and frozen margaritas that do the job. The rice and beans get their own share of praise. Beach-town Mexican with volume and a good mood built in.
