The bird is the point. GranPollo marinates its rotisserie chickens for thirty-six hours, then roasts them slowly and bastes them in garlic mojo, sold whole or by the half with two sides and guasacaca alongside. Around that centrepiece sits a full Venezuelan menu: arepas, cachapas, hearty soups, pechuga de pollo, and nachos piled with pollo criollo, black beans, pico de gallo and nata over chips fried to order. Doral is not short of Venezuelan kitchens. This one has the rotisserie, and it shows.
