GREEN LIGHT LOUNGE + KITCHEN – Restaurant

The bar and kitchen the Green Light Cinema opened alongside its downtown St. Pete theater, made for the hour before the film and the argument after it. The menu leans cinematic: Argentinian-style empanadas, smash burgers like the Marlon Brandouble with two patties and bacon, the Katherine Hepburn grilled chicken sandwich, plus small bites, salads and a rotating dessert. Beer and wine, and a calendar of live music, comedy and trivia. Thursday through Sunday only. A movie-house lounge that earns a visit on its own.
