A kosher deli in the Financial District that files two traditions down to one counter: New York Jewish deli and Eastern European home cooking. Pastrami is carved at the table; corned beef and brisket go into sandwiches built to be handled with both hands. Alongside them sit handmade pelmeni and vareniki, plus babka and challah from the baking side and a shelf of Dr. Brown's sodas. Under OU supervision, open Sunday through Thursday and closed for Shabbat. Old-country dumplings and a proper pastrami counter, on the same menu.
