Open at five in the morning on Griffin Road, The Groves Coffee House is where Davie's early shift gets its caffeine. The range runs from organic single-origin pours to Cuban coffee pulled strong and sweet, alongside a counter of empanadas, meat pies and Spanish pastries. The savoury side pulls its weight: pan con bistec built like a Philly cheesesteak and finished with shoestring potatoes, a medianoche, cheese arepas, avocado toast, wraps and salads.
