HONEY'S BBQ – Restaurant

A family-owned smokehouse tucked into Posner Park in Davenport, putting Texas-style brisket through fourteen to eighteen hours of smoke before it ever reaches the counter. That brisket is what people talk about first, with the pork ribs and pulled pork close behind, all of it finished with house sauces that swing between sweet and hot. Old-fashioned Southern sides fill the plate. Closed Tuesdays, open otherwise from midday until nine, and set up for dine-in, pickup and catering alike. Diners keep returning for the tenderness of the smoke and an owner who greets them himself. Serious barbecue in a shopping-center unit.
