A small strip-mall Chinese counter on Pasadena Avenue South, set up for takeout and delivery rather than lingering. The menu is the American-Chinese canon done plainly - General Tso's chicken, egg fried rice, soups and lo mein - in portions that come out larger than the prices suggest. Customers across the surrounding neighborhoods rate it for how fast the food arrives and how reliably the order is right, and the staff get mentioned nearly as often as the cooking. Not a destination, and it makes no claim to be. A dependable weeknight fallback that holds on to its regulars.
