Wood-fired pizza and hand-rolled bagels out of the same fire. Humble Wood Fire works from the 4th Ave Food Park in downtown Gainesville, rolling organic bagels fresh each morning and building pizzas, calzones and salads on scratch dough and scratch sauces. Weekend brunch brings biscuits and gravy, tofu scramble, cold brew and mimosas. The menu rotates with what is local and seasonal, and vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free eaters are properly catered for rather than tolerated. Open early, done by mid-afternoon. Plan accordingly.
