Hummus Yummy – Restaurant

A small Valley Village storefront on Burbank Boulevard doing gourmet hummus and entirely plant-based Middle Eastern food. Each hummus plate arrives with a choice of topping — warm garbanzos, ful, tahini, seasoned mushrooms, falafel, sabich or shakshuka sauce — plus two pita, raw onion, olives and pickles. The kitchen also builds vegan shawarma, merguez, kebab and burgers. Diners keep returning for how fresh it all tastes rather than for the vegan label attached to it. Closed Saturdays, so go earlier in the week.
