Southern cooking with a little swagger, served in downtown Tallahassee by the husband-and-wife team who opened the doors in 2022. The kitchen has fun with the classics: Fried Deviled Eggs to start, "Bang, Bang, Boogie" fried shrimp, "On The Wings of Love" drummettes, fried green tomatoes, crab cakes. Weekend brunch brings sweet potato pancakes and loaded omelets. Regulars talk most about the collard greens and the shrimp and grits, about seasoning that actually shows up, and about plates that arrive generously loaded.
