KA'TIKI – American
A thatched tiki hut across from Sunset Beach, open from nine in the morning until two the next, with bands seven nights a week and a barstool view of the sunset. The kitchen is straightforward and cheap: a signature all-day cheeseburger, wings, fried cheese, fish spread, pizzas, sandwiches from fish to pork tenderloin, fries and onion rings. Buckets of beer and a proper happy hour. Regulars, an older crowd and mostly locals, come for the music and the total absence of pretension. Sand, sunset, a band. Done.
