KEG ROOM – Restaurant

The Keg Room is a Lake City roadhouse out on State Road 247 that keeps the door open until two in the morning — pool tables, a fire pit, local bands from nine on Friday and Saturday nights. The kitchen's calling card is wings: jumbo, fried crisp, and the garlic parmesan version is the one people order a second round of. Around them sit chicken tenders, fried mushrooms, broccoli and cheese bites, onion rings and cheese sticks, plus a Taco Tuesday run. Regulars talk up the bartenders as warmly as the food. Cheap beer, big wings, late hours.
