Keke's runs to a hard deadline: doors open at seven, the kitchen stops at two-thirty, and everything in between is breakfast. The Jacksonville cafes follow the playbook brothers Kevin and Keith Mahen set out in Orlando in 2006 — no microwaves, coffee ground on site, eggs cracked to order. Florida Pancakes arrive under strawberries, blueberries and banana; stuffed French toast comes five ways; omelets run from Greek to cheese steak. Lunch brings paninis, wraps and the signature bacon cheeseburger. What Jacksonville diners repeat is the consistency. Get there before the weekend queue does.
