Kings at CityPlace Doral is a full kitchen with bowling lanes attached, not the other way round - sleek retro rooms, big screens everywhere, billiards and arcade games in the back. The food is built for sharing and is more ambitious than the setting suggests: buffalo chicken wontons, crispy pork dumplings, Thai curry chicken bao, boom boom shrimp, a brauhaus pretzel. Then burgers, flatbreads, tacos, a short-rib grilled cheese and loaded fries by the frame. Cocktails are creative, the beer list is long, and the milkshakes are absurd on purpose.
