KLAW – Restaurant
Klaw took over the Miami Woman's Club on Biscayne Bay and turned three floors of Spanish Renaissance stonework into a surf-and-turf house with unusually specific sourcing. King crab comes from the Barents Sea off Norway, served whole or as legs and claw with lemon-garlic butter. The raw side runs to a shellfish platter of oysters, Maine lobster and chilled prawns, and a Klaw platter that adds ceviche and bluefin. Beef is treated just as seriously: slow-grilled picanha with chimichurri, filet with truffle or peppercorn. Colonial-arched windows, water on three sides. Book ahead; the bar rarely has room.
