A Cuban coffee shop on NW 2nd Avenue that opens at seven and is finished by early evening. Breakfast and lunch only, no dinner. The counter deals in sandwiches: a cubano, tuna on a toasted bun, turkey and bacon on toast or croissant, and a house sandwich dressed with the kitchen's own sauce and potato sticks. Cortaditos go across the counter all morning long. A neighbourhood cafeteria, priced like one, treated like one by the people who eat there daily.
