LA COCINA DE MARTINA – Restaurant
Doors open at 6:30 in the morning on NW 12th Street, and the breakfast combos start moving before most of Miami is properly awake. By noon it is straight Colombian home cooking: ajiaco bogotano, chuleta valluna, bandeja paisa, and empanadas colombianas that disappear by the handful, plus lunch bowls for the office crowd nearby. The room is small and warm, Colombian music going, closer to somebody's kitchen than to a restaurant. Weekdays only, and it shuts at four. Go early.
