The kitchen is doing one thing properly: thin crepes, cooked when you order them, sweet or savoury, in white flour or gluten-free organic buckwheat. Best known is the Parisian — smoked turkey, sliced apples, glazed walnuts, brie, honey — but the menu spreads wide enough to take in soups, salads and sandwiches too. Family-run across two chic-farmhouse rooms in Melbourne, both open daily from eight to two. Mimosas and specialty coffee if you are making a morning of it. Breakfast and brunch only, and no fuss about it.
