The format is the fritanga: pick a charbroiled meat, then load the plate with gallo pinto, tostones, maduros, fried cheese, yuca and tortillas. Mornings bring huevos rancheros and eggs with Spanish sausage, and the maracuya, cacao and cebada juices are worth the extra dollar. Portions are big, the staff are quick and friendly, and the room is busy from the first hour.
