A family-run Mexican stall inside Shoma Bazaar in Doral, where a trompo turns slowly behind the counter and the al pastor comes off it marinated properly. The kitchen keeps things unfused and unhurried: tacos of birria, carne asada, chorizo and chicken, quesadillas, bowls, chicken flautas, tostadas and queso fundido, with salsas made by hand rather than poured from a jug. Recipes are handed down, not reinvented. Street-food energy in a food hall, and the trompo is the tell.
