LA MORDIDA – Restaurant

Flashy, frenetic Latin decor — flowers, vibrant color, music running through the room — and a kitchen that cooks Colombian and Peruvian side by side. The bandeja paisa arrives as a full landscape: steak, white rice, beans, pork belly, chorizo, sweet plantain, fried egg, arepa and avocado. Lomo saltado, ropa vieja, churrasco with yellow rice, papa a la huancaina and beef empanadas fill out the rest, backed by a full bar built on pisco sours and margaritas. Diners keep coming back for the portions and the weekend live music. Open from breakfast through to very late on Saturdays.
