Honduran home cooking on NE 2nd Avenue, served from breakfast straight through the evening. La Munequita took over the long-running Adelita's Cafe space in Little River and kept the neighbourhood habit alive: baleadas de carne built on thick, puffy flour tortillas, tortilla con quesillo, yuca con chicharron, plantains stuffed with beans, cheese and crema. Hibiscus juice arrives in a tall glass, vintage records set the pace. Diners come back for the size of the plates and how little they cost, and for staff who remember faces. Unfussy, family-run, and reliably good.
