La Tigre – Italian

Naples, by way of Tel Aviv. La Tigre was the first pizzeria in Israel admitted to the Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napoletani, and its crew trained in Naples under pizza champion Davide Civitiello - which explains the Caputo dough given a 72-hour ferment, the leopard-spotted crust, the San Marzano tomato and fior di latte brought in from Campania. Order the margherita, the white-sauce carpaccio pizza, a spaghetti carbonara, and the tiramisu that arrives by cart. Come evening the room turns into a proper Italian bar. Diners praise the crust and the vegan options; expect a wait at peak.
