Lagman Lounge – Restaurant

Central Asian cooking on Queens Boulevard, glatt kosher, and named for the dish it stakes everything on: lagman, hand-pulled noodles made fresh rather than pulled from a bag. Manty dumplings and flame-grilled kebabs carry the rest of the menu, with baked samsa — beef, onion and Uzbek spice folded into pastry — as the starter to order, and house-cut fries tossed in garlic or a spicy house blend. Hours run to the Sabbath: an early Friday close, a reopening after dark on Saturday. New to Forest Hills and already sure of exactly what it is.
