LATIN GRILL – Restaurant

Charcoal's Latin Grill does what its name promises: beef over live fire, at prices that do not assume a special occasion. Inside Dolphin Mall off NW 12th Street, it is a proper sit-down room rather than a food-court stop — churrasco presidente, ranchero steak, baby churrasco, carne asada and rib eye off the grill, with camarones al ajillo or a whole fried pargo a la Tipitapa for the table that wants something else. Diners keep returning to the same two points: portions outsized for the price, and staff who genuinely work at it. Charbroiled, unfussy, deservedly busy.
