LOU'S PIZZA SHOP – Restaurant
A small carry-out pizzeria on West Nine Mile Road that is unusually particular about what goes into a pie. The dough is made by hand every day to the family's own recipe, and the pantry reads like a much pricier restaurant's: Stanislaus tomatoes, Grande cheese, Corto olive oil. House Favorite layers pepperoni, sausage, basil, grated pecorino romano, red sauce and mozzarella. Cups of Joy goes all in on curled pepperoni with fresh mozzarella and parmesan. The Margherita keeps to fresh mozzarella, red sauce, basil and a drizzle of oil. Slices all day, seating deliberately minimal.
