LOVETT SAND BAR & KITCHEN – Restaurant

A neighbourhood bar directly across from the sand at the north end of Collins, open from noon until five in the morning and in no hurry to close. The kitchen is real: beach tacos, burgers, wings and lamb chops off an American comfort menu that runs weekly specials rather than coasting on bar snacks. Beer list is long, the happy hour longer, and there are pool tables, live music and screens on every wall for whatever game is on. Dogs welcome, parking free. A local's room in a very touristy stretch.
