A breakfast-and-lunch room on Trouble Creek Road that opens at seven and is done by two, which tells you exactly what it is for. The griddle does the heavy lifting: two eggs with pancakes and bacon, Belgian waffle, stuffed French toast, corned beef hash, biscuits and gravy, a Country Benedict, plus Philly cheesesteaks, Monte Cristos and a chicken parmesan sandwich at midday. The grits get singled out more often than anything else on the plate. Regulars go weekly and order the same thing every time.
