A Lem Turner Road counter built for the fried-seafood crowd, cooking to order and making a point of skipping the freezer. MAK Seafood Chicken & Subs stacks VIP combo plates with red snapper, oysters, shrimp and fried conch, runs fish-and-shrimp dinners and shrimp po' boys, and keeps whole wings, party wings and tenders moving for anyone who came in for chicken instead. Philly steaks, buffalo chicken subs and rice-and-bean bowls fill out the rest. Carryout and delivery do most of the work. Northside Jacksonville, fried right, no pretense.
