Maoz Vegetarian (Boca) – Restaurant
A vegetarian falafel counter in the food court at Town Center at Boca Raton, and the pitch has never changed: falafel, pita, hummus, and not a scrap of meat anywhere. The board stays deliberately short - falafel balls and falafel sandwiches, a hummus plate, sweet potato fries, avocado toast - with a good share of it vegan. What comes up again and again is that the falafel arrives moist rather than dry, which is the thing most places get wrong. Ten till eight most days, no reservations, no ceremony. Fast, cheap and properly meat-free.
