Mary's Kountry Kitchen has run in Lake County since 2007 on a simple proposition: huge breakfasts, hand-formed burgers and fried seafood, served without pretension. Cap'n Crunch French toast and cinnamon bun pancakes sit on the same menu as eggs Benedict, breakfast totchos and a grilled pork ribeye; fried chicken, shrimp and crab legs carry the later hours Thursday through Saturday. The Orlando Sentinel named it best diner in its 2021 Foodie Awards. Come hungry — the portions assume you are.
