MELLOW GRAPES – Restaurant

A Kendall wine bar that actually cooks. Behind the by-the-glass list and the craft beer taps sits a kitchen turning out flatbreads — caprese, pigs n figs with prosciutto, fig and goat cheese, pork belly with black bean hummus and queso blanco — plus homemade Italian meatballs in tomato sauce, garbanzo frito with chorizo, and oven-baked empanadas that change by the day. Paninis include a pork-belly Cuban. Charcuterie boards come French, Italian or Spanish; baked brie and a pretzel with beer cheese cover lighter grazing. There is a wine club and a full events calendar. All are welcome, as the sign says.
