Call ahead. That is the standing advice, because the buñuelos here are fried to order and the twenty minutes you wait is the whole point. Mi Buñuelo is a small Colombian counter doing breakfast the way Bogota does it: buñuelos stuffed with dulce de leche or guava, arepa de chocolo with quesito, pericos with cheese arepa, potato mini-empanadas by the handful, and a waffle made from buñuelo dough for the adventurous. Empanadas come properly packed with meat. Seating is limited and the prices are modest. Get there early, eat them hot.
